Sally and her husband wanted to go away but she was worried to leave her mother. She had made enquiries for her to go into respite care for two weeks whilst they were away. However her mum wasn’t too keen. From our discussion it was clear that her mum didn’t need 24hr care, in fact, we suggested that our "Membership Service" was probably sufficient.
We agreed that we would make a daily call for the fortnight that they were away and would resolve any issues should they arise. The cost of Membership is considerably cheaper than respite but more importantly it wasn’t necessary - Membership lasts for a year, not just two weeks! Now that Sally knows about our services, we hope that she will be able to take another holiday soon.
